healing by dealing with life’s challenges

“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”

Carl Rogers

You don’t have to be in a crisis to see a counsellor, you just need to want to solve a problem.

We all face problems from time to time and mostly we manage on our own very well. A counsellor is there to help when issues suddenly feel overwhelming, when you are struggling to find a solution, or when you’ve lost your sense of direction.

To get the most out of working with a counsellor all you need is a willingness to share openly and honestly about yourself and a real desire to change what’s not working for you.

What clients say

“I thought I was going to spend every session crying but eventually the tears subsided and with Angela’s help I was able to focus on the cause of my grief.”

— Joanne

“My struggle with my boss finally came to an end when I found the courage to stand up to him. I didn’t believe I had it in me and I’ve not looked back since.”

— Mark

“I found it shameful to talk about my past but Angela was not at all judgemental and I found I could relax with her and just be myself, warts and all.”

— Amanda

Asking for help with a problem is not giving up, it’s being determined to resolve it.

Simply speaking to someone about what is bothering you can immediately bring relief. As they say, “a problem shared is a problem halved”. If that person is truly listening and wants to understand you then the problem is halved again.
